![]() ![]() You have to come here every day and on the other site too, now a days most updates are minimal because we have most of the best tables already on vpx, so i only update if said update has new physics. For notification on updates, either follow both VPU and VPF to check when updates arrive or join the VP Chat Discord, there is always someone there posting a link to the updatesĮdited by studlygoorite, 20 September 2021 - 04:26 PM. Luckily you only have 30-ish tables, I just went through 300 re-doing all POVs and documenting what version each table is in the game manager for future reference. I do think that there is some sort of negative feelings in the community about making it too easy to keep your tables up to date probably because it also makes it too easy for the idiots that sell vpin cabs and include (or sell separately) tables.īut then again, sometimes you just get too caught up on having the newest tables and micro managing it, instead of just enjoying the tables The tabel version is probably stored in the popper database so you could use that to output a list for yourself I guess (you will find it in the setup menu - database something) The VPS repository you mention is not that useful anymore as it was started when vpinball website was running so a lot of the tables you can't even find anymore (or you will have to dig the dark webs ) ![]() ![]() I know, lots of wishful thinking.įor all of those table creators, thanks for all that you do. Someone with a lot more software knowledge than me would need to look into it. Could also be a source for managing this sort of thing. There is also that VPS Repository spreadsheet that lists a ton of tables with a lot of metadata. Some sort of indicator that a new version of a table is available would be fantastic. My initial thought is the table revision info being stored there (I think most of the tables are located on one of three reputable websites). Not sure where that is or how it is managed. There is some sort of database for pulling the Popper media files. Then just manually update as I think to check on them. I will just need to go through my current table list and update Popper accordingly. ![]()
